FALMOUTH ARTS CENTRE’S EXHIBITION SPACES

Falmouth Arts Centre offers three superb exhibition spaces at very affordable prices for artists wishing to show their work.

The Arts Centre is located in the heart of Falmouth’s busiest shopping street. Its galleries are open to the public from 10 am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays, with extended opening for certain shows. There is normally no admission charge for any of the three galleries.

THE MAIN GALLERY
Because of the wealth of talented artists in Cornwall there is a big demand for the very limited available exhibition spaces in any of the towns between Land’s End and the Tamar.

Famouth Arts Centre offers one of the largest and most elegant spaces available anywhere in Cornwall, and at very affordable rates. Our Main Gallery provides ideal hanging and display space for paintings, ceramics, and textile or sculpture exhibitions. It is well equipped with excellent lighting, a flexible hanging system and a range of
display equipment to suit most requirements. Although the Main Gallery is normally used to present large scale exhibitions it may be possible in future to hire partitioned sections of the Main Gallery for smaller shows.

The Main Gallery has two entrances, one from New Street (parallel to Church Street, best accessed from the Well Lane Car Park), and the other from the Arts Centre’s main front entrance at 24 Church Street, upstairs past the theatre auditorium foyer.

THE SPRING GALLERY & THE STEELE GALLERY
These two galleries are located at the front of Falmouth Arts Centre, on either side of its main entrance at 24 Church Street. Both galleries offer prime selling and exhibition opportunities. Each has a shop window directly onto Falmouth’s main shopping street. Both the Spring and Steele galleries are ideal for small group shows or one person shows. The entrances to both galleries are through the Arts Centre’s main front entrance and past the busy box office foyer. Both galleries have excellent and flexible lighting and hanging systems. A range of additional display equipment for three dimensional work is available at no additional cost.
